In an intense finish, Eric McCabe of Kansas fended off the resurgent Gregg Barsby and Nikko Locastro for his first Major win. For the women, current World Champ Val Jenkins was a decisive winner. Complete results and final round photos.

Registered players can now see their round one tee times.
Registration and Course Update
A number of players report that the struggling economy is keeping them home this year. As a result, more registration slots remain available. We have pushed back the registration date to Nov. 17, and Open players with a rating of 915+ are now eligible. Register online.
In course news, the modifications to Red Hawk holes #1 and #14 will be completed Saturday Nov. 8th and the course will be tournament-ready for practice.

Players Cup Qualifying Format For 2008
The Players Cup qualifying format rewards past attendees and offers ratings-based windows where any pro player can sign up to play based on their player rating.
Here are the important registration windows to remember:
July 21st: Eligible players: Previous year attendees, 1000+ rated Pro Men and 900+ rated Pro Women
Aug 8th: All 975+ rated Pro Men, all 875+ rated Pro Women become eligible.
Sep 1st: All 955+ rated Pro Men, all Pro Women become eligible.
Nov 4th: All 915+ rated Pro Men, all Pro Women become eligible.
Nov 17th: Registration closes.
Capacity is 144 players, 16 spots will be held for women held until 9/15/08.
The 2008 Players Cup takes place November 21st-23rd on the amazing Red Hawk Championship Course at the Plantation Inn and Country Club in Crystal River, Florida.
